Toạ đàm kết nối đầu tư có sự tham dự của lãnh đạo các địa phương như TP. Hồ Chí Minh, Bình Dương, Đắk Nông, Vĩnh Long, Bến Tre, Trà Vinh, An Giang và đại diện các cơ quan ngoại giao, các hiệp hội doanh nghiệp (DN) nước ngoài (Mỹ, Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc, Úc, Thái Lan, Ấn Độ, Singapore…).

Phát biểu tại tọa đàm, ông Đỗ Nhất Hoàng - Cục trưởng Cục Đầu tư nước ngoài (Bộ Kế hoạch và Đầu tư) - cho biết, năm 2021, nền kinh tế Việt Nam tiếp tục duy trì tăng trưởng đạt 2,58%, kinh tế vĩ mô ổn định, môi trường đầu tư kinh doanh tiếp tục được cải thiện. Tổng kim ngạch xuất nhập khẩu tăng 22,6% so với năm 2020, đạt kỷ lục 668,5 tỷ USD, trong đó xuất khẩu tăng 19%, đạt 336,25 tỷ USD. Việt Nam trở thành nền kinh tế lớn thứ 3 ASEAN với quy mô GDP trên 350 tỷ USD.
Theo Cục trưởng Cục Đầu tư nước ngoài, buổi tọa đàm là cơ hội để kết nối ngoại giao đa phương giữa địa phương với các cơ quan ngoại giao, hiệp hội doanh nghiệp nước ngoài cũng như thúc đẩy nguồn vốn FDI vào Việt Nam nói chung và các tỉnh thành phía Nam nói riêng.
Trong bối cảnh dịch bệnh Covid-19 diễn biến phức tạp song các nhà đầu tư quốc tế tin tưởng Việt Nam để mở rộng đầu tư, xem Việt Nam là điểm đến cho những dự định trong tương lai. Việt Nam cam kết sẽ luôn chia sẻ, đồng hành và tạo mọi điều kiện thuận lợi để các DN FDI tiến hành đầu tư kinh doanh hiệu quả, bền vững, lâu dài tại Việt Nam.

Thông tin tại buổi tọa đàm, bà Trần Thị Hải Yến - Giám đốc Trung tâm Xúc tiến đầu tư phía Nam (IPCS) - cho biết, trong năm 2022, trung tâm sẽ triển khai các hoạt động xúc tiến đầu tư và hỗ trợ đưa các đoàn DN đi khảo sát môi trường đầu tư tại một số địa phương.
Theo đó, IPCS phối hợp với Tổng Lãnh sự quán Ấn Độ xây dựng chương tình, hội nghị, toạ đàm xúc tiến đầu tư liên quan đến cảng biển, logistics, dược phẩm, bảo đảm an toàn hàng hải với một số các tỉnh thành phía Nam.
Bên cạnh đó, IPCS cũng sẽ phối hợp với Tổ chức Xúc tiến thương mại và đầu tư Hàn Quốc (KOTRA), Tổng Lãnh sự quán Hàn Quốc xây dựng chương tình dẫn đoàn DN Hàn Quốc đến một số địa phương để khảo sát, cũng như tìm hiểu cơ hội đầu tư nhà máy sản xuất thiết bị, khu công nghiệp…
Cùng với đó, IPCS phối hợp với Tổng Lãnh sự quán Nhật Bản hỗ trợ DN Nhật Bản kết nối với địa phương, tìm hiểu cơ hội đầu tư trong mảng nông nghiệp công nghệ cao như chuỗi sản xuất chăn nuôi khép kín, trung tâm thương mại, phát triển chuỗi kinh doanh bán lẻ.

On the morning of April 29, at Phuoc Dong Industrial Park & Port (Tay Ninh), IMG Phuoc Dong Joint Stock Company, in coordination with local authorities, held the groundbreaking ceremony for a multi-storey factory cluster, a 110kV power system, and the commencement of the worker and expert housing project.
