Conference to Promote Cooperation Between Long An Province and Singaporean Enterprises in 2023
Under the theme "Forum to Promote Cooperation Between Long An Province and Singaporean Enterprises," the conference highlighted Long An’s commitment to opening doors for investment and international collaboration.
In addition to political figures, the conference attracted the attention of many business leaders and important partners of Long An. Representatives from Singapore not only extended their congratulations but also expressed a strong willingness to cooperate and develop alongside Long An.
The event provided an opportunity for various departments and sectors of Long An Province to showcase the region’s advantages, potential, and attractiveness to Singaporean investors.
Long An hopes that following this conference, cooperation with Singaporean partners will be comprehensively strengthened, especially in building smart cities, proper urban planning, e-government, workforce development, labor market enhancement, and the reception of more ODA projects. These funds are to be utilized in several areas including public administration, water resource management, healthcare, education and training, transportation, and urban infrastructure.
Amid Long An’s goal of becoming an industrially developed province by 2030, the chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee emphasized the importance of cooperation with Singaporean partners to boost the local socio-economic development.
The Long An Provincial People's Committee also stressed the importance of solidarity between businesses and the province in overcoming difficulties and challenges. The provincial government is always ready to listen to and incorporate feedback to continually improve its capabilities and management systems to meet the needs of investors, particularly those from Singapore. Furthermore, the Long An Provincial People's Committee is committed to providing comprehensive support regarding legal issues, transportation, and other matters that facilitate bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
